Azerbaijan establishes customs and border posts on the Goris-Kafan road
“Today, the Azerbaijani side informed that from 24:00 on November 11, border and customs control will be carried out on the Goris-Kafan road section.” According to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting Turan News, the Head of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan stated this on Wednesday evening on air of the Public Television.
Note that the section of the road between these two Armenian cities passes through the territory of Azerbaijan. Today it is the main road used by Iranian trucks delivering goods to Armenia. For Armenia, this is also an important road along which it is connected with Iran.
It should be noted that on this road the Iranian drivers who illegally travelled to Karabakh were fined and detained.
