
Azerbaijani, Armenian FMs and U.S. Secretary of State hold trilateral meeting
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan have met in Washington D.C., USA, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting AzerTac. The ministers were hosted at the Blair House, where a joint meeting with the Secretary of State Antony Blinken also took place.
The Ministers exchanged views on the elements of a possible peace treaty and acknowledged that there is a range of issues that still need to be addressed. Both sides reiterated the commitments undertaken by the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia in their meetings on October 6 in Prague and October 31 in Sochi.
They agreed to expedite their negotiations and organize another meeting in the coming weeks.
The FMs expressed their appreciation to the U.S. side for hosting the peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
