Azerbaijani sambo wrestler clinches world silver in Bishkek

Azerbaijani wrestler Elvin Baghirov has claimed a silver medal at the 2022 World Sambo Championships (M&W, Combat Sambo) held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting AzerTac.

He secured the medal in the 64kg weight class.

The championships brought together athletes from 50 countries.
