Azerbaijan’s population hits 10,157 million

Azerbaijan’s population reached 10,157,406 as of August 1, 2023, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting AzerTac, citing the State Statistical Committee.

54.6 percent of the population lives in cities, while 45.4 percent in villages. 49.8 percent of the population are men, while 50.2 percent are women.
