
Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister meets with Russian counterpart
As part of his working visit to Sochi, Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting AzerTac.
The parties hailed the fact that mutual relations between the two countries had been elevated to the level of strategic importance thanks to the efforts of the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan.
The continued growth of trade and mutual investments was assessed as proof of the dynamic progress of bilateral relations.
The sides stressed the importance of holding the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Moscow this June.
The counterparts highlighted positive results of cooperation in the agriculture field. They underlined cooperation in the logistics and transportation field as a new direction.
The heads of the government reviewed the urgent issues on the trade-economic cooperation agenda.
