Diplomatic Corps Representatives See Evidence of Armenian Vandalism in Fuzuli

Representatives of the diplomatic corps in Azerbaijan, including ambassadors, military attachés, and the heads of representative offices of international organisations in Azerbaijan, made a trip to the Azerbaijani Fuzuli district on November 22, according to ‘Azerbaijan in Focus’ reporting Trend News. This follows its liberation from Armenian occupation after 27 years.

The objective of the trip was for diplomats and military attachés to witness the barbarities committed by the Armenian armed forces in Fuzuli city. The diplomats and representatives were accompanied by Hikmet Hajiyev, aide to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration and Elchin Amirbayov, Assistant to the Azerbaijani First Vice-President, together with other officials.

The diplomats saw evidence of the war crimes and vandalism committed by the illegal Armenian occupying forces, which has destroyed every building. They were informed that the Armenians deliberately eradicated settlements, cemeteries, cultural monuments and buildings of historic importance, including tombs and ancient burial mounds.

Thankfully, the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of the Fuzuli district have been able to return home after 27 years due to the heroism of the valiant Azerbaijani troops under the leadership of Azerbaijani President and Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev.
