Diplomats accredited in Azerbaijan, together with the representatives of international organisations, have visited Aghdam city, which was recently liberated from Armenian occupation after 27 years, according to ‘Azerbaijan in Focus’, reporting AzerTac. The diplomats were accompanied by Hikmet Hajiyev, aide to the Azerbaijani President and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration and other officials.

The objective of the visit was to acquaint foreign diplomats with the atrocities and war crimes committed by the occupying Armenians over 27 years and the impact of their ‘scorched earth’ policy as the retreated to Armenia.
