Luke Coffey: There Was Only One Option: Azerbaijan and the Ganja Gap
In the light of the latest developments in Afghanistan, an influential US-based think tank, a director of Foreign Relations of the Heritage Foundation (USA), Luke Coffey, shared a post about Azerbaijan on his Twitter account.
In his post, Luke Coffey noted that the importance of the Azerbaijan-Ganja Corridor has re-emerged as a result of the withdrawal of NATO and the United States from Afghanistan. He stressed that the only strategically important corridor for access to Afghanistan and the Central Asian region, which does not pass through Russia and Iran, is the Azerbaijan-Ganja Corridor.
In order for these two NATO C-17s to bypass Russian and Iranian airspace there was only ONE option: Azerbaijan and the Ganja Gap. (One of the most strategic locations on the Eurasian landmass.) pic.twitter.com/dEbSxUxbT9
