Stanislav Zas: CSTO will not interfere in the conflict between Yerevan and Baku
CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas said that his organisation would not interfere in the border conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting Turan News.
In his statement on the OBDC website, in particular, it is said: “We consider the use of force unacceptable. To resolve contradictions, exclusively political and diplomatic methods should be used. I welcome the efforts of the Russian Federation aimed at stabilising the situation in the region.”
Today the head of the Armenian government called on the CSTO to place its observers on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
