Strong earthquakes in Shamakhi district
On Saturday at 16:46, an earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred in the territory of Shamakhi district, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting Turan News.
According to the director of the Republican Seismological Center Gurban Yetirmishli, the epicenter of the earthquake was 20 km south of the village of Pirgulu (125 km north-west of Baku), and at a depth of 42 km.
